Supposdly the last day on either the Aztec or Mayan calender. That calender has predicted events fairly accurately. But many of them are astrological events that are not hard to predict at all. Lots of different ways to interpret it. I don't believe it.

Will anyone take into the account that the Aztecs were invaded?

oO What does that have to do with anything? But I really think that it is the Mayans not the Aztecs that came up with this calender.
Yup I was right.
Quote:
Actually, a more significant date is December 21, 2012, as this is the end of the Mayan calendar. This will mark the end of the Piscean Age of secular materialism, and the true beginning of the Age of Aquarius, which will last for one thousand years. It is also prophesied in Revelation chapter 20 verses 1-3.

lol I doubt they were making it when they were invaded. Besides they didn't lose in one day. They were wiped out overtime.

the survivors went to northern america, where they brough cannibalism to the anazazi
isn't the end of the mayan calender, the end of the third world, and the start of the fourth world?

Thats what people think or have interpreted. But sometimes I think people try to think to much into things. I doubt that anyone has ever given any thought to the fact maybe who ever was doing the calculation for the solar events and what not simply said "f-this crap I'm done" or plain and simply thought that a calendar showing everyone the events in the sky and winter solstice for the next 500 years might be more than enough.

Good point. The guy might of just decided that that was enough and stopped. Or maybe he even went as far as he could before he was unsure. Too many variables to be sure.

For the mayans.
The calender resets itself actually.
It doesn't end.
Mayan culture relates on cycles.
So in 2012, the cycle "calender" starts all over again.
Or atleast thats one of the things to be considered.
Another is that we are all doomed.

You people and your designer handbags. So dumb imo.
Yes we will all die one day but I highly doubt it will be that day. I just don't see that happening.

Lmao.
I only buy my mom designer things (sides myself.. but thats a given!) because she totally deserves them. She would NEVER think about spending so much on a inanimate object.. and I feel the need to spoil her!! Muhaha!! The two accessories I got her matches her Dooney purse and wallet I got her for the last 2 Christmases ^^; Mommy is ballin!
Christmas is all about giving than receiving. ^^;
